Product Description:

Arsenor Tablet contains Apremilast, a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor used primarily for the treatment of inflammatory conditions. It helps to regulate the immune response and reduce inflammation associated with chronic autoimmune disorders.

Indications:

• Psoriatic Arthritis: To reduce the signs and symptoms of active psoriatic arthritis.

• Plaque Psoriasis: For the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy.

• Behçet's Disease: For the treatment of oral ulcers associated with Behçet’s disease.

Mechanism of Action:

Apremilast selectively inhibits PDE4, leading to an increase in intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels. This results in the downregulation of pro-inflammatory mediators like TNF-alpha, interleukins (IL-17, IL-23), and other cytokines involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
