Coughex Tablet contains Gefapixant Citrate 45 mg, a selective P2X3 receptor antagonist indicated for the management of refractory or unexplained chronic cough in adults. Gefapixant works by blocking P2X3 receptors on sensory nerves, which play a key role in the cough reflex, thereby reducing the frequency and severity of chronic coughing episodes.

Indications:

• Treatment of chronic cough that persists despite treatment of underlying conditions (refractory cough).

• Unexplained chronic cough where no identifiable cause is found after thorough investigation.

Dosage:
