Composition (per 5 ml):

• Guaifenesin: 200 mg

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide: 15 mg

• Menthol: 15 mg

Product Description:
DGM Syrup is a combination cough syrup formulated to provide symptomatic relief from cough and throat irritation. It contains:

• Guaifenesin: An expectorant that helps thin and loosen mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough out and clear the respiratory passages.

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide: A cough suppressant that acts on the cough center in the brain to reduce the urge to cough.

• Menthol: A soothing agent that provides a cooling sensation and relieves throat irritation and discomfort.

Indications:

• Productive and dry cough

• Throat irritation

• Chest congestion associated with respiratory tract infections, common cold, and bronchitis

Dosage:
As directed by a physician. The usual dosage for adults and children above a certain age may range from 5 ml to 10 ml, 3-4 times daily.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children below a certain age without medical advice.

• Use with caution in patients with chronic cough due to smoking, asthma, or chronic bronchitis.

• Avoid concurrent use with other CNS depressants or MAO inhibitors.
