Description:
Eparin SC Injection contains Enoxaparin Sodium, a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) with antithrombotic and anticoagulant properties. It acts primarily by inhibiting factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, factor IIa (thrombin).

Indications:

• Prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients undergoing surgery or at risk of thromboembolic complications

• Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE)

• Prevention of clotting in extracorporeal circulation during hemodialysis

• Management of acute coronary syndromes (unstable angina, non-Q-wave myocardial infarction, and ST-elevation myocardial infarction [STEMI])

Administration Route: Subcutaneous (SC) injection

Pack Size: Prefilled syringe containing 0.6 ml

Storage:

• Store below 25°C.

• Protect from light.

• Do not freeze.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders, renal impairment, or history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT).

• Regular monitoring of platelet counts and renal function may be required during prolonged use.

Side Effects:

• Bleeding

• Injection site reactions (pain, redness)

• Thrombocytopenia

• Elevated liver enzymes in some cases
