Product Description:
Esoprex Injection contains Esomeprazole Sodium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces stomach acid by blocking the final step in gastric acid production. It is used when oral administration is not possible or not appropriate.
Indications:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
-
Peptic ulcer disease (including NSAID-associated ulcers)

Stress ulcer prophylaxis in critically ill patients
Dosage:

Adults:
The usual dose is 40 mg once daily by intravenous injection or infusion for up to 10 days, depending on the condition being treated. -
Administration Route:

IV Injection: Administer as a slow IV injection over at least 3 minutes.

IV Infusion: Can also be given over 10–30 minutes after reconstitution and dilution.

Reconstitution:
Reconstitute the powder with sterile water for injection as directed in the product insert before use.
