Product Description:

Lexel contains Letrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced in the body, which can slow or stop the growth of some breast cancers that need estrogen to grow.

Indications:

• Early breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive) in postmenopausal women

• Advanced/metastatic breast cancer

Dosage and Administration:

Usual Adult Dose:

• 2.5 mg once daily, with or without food.

Duration of treatment:

• May continue for 5 years or as directed by the physician based on clinical evaluation.
