Product Description:

MMF Tablet contains Mycophenolate Mofetil, an immunosuppressive agent. Mycophenolate Mofetil is a prodrug that is rapidly converted to mycophenolic acid (MPA), the active form. MPA selectively inhibits inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), an enzyme crucial for de novo guanosine nucleotide synthesis, thus inhibiting lymphocyte proliferation.

Indications:

• Prevention of organ transplant rejection (kidney, heart, liver) in combination with other immunosuppressants such as corticosteroids and calcineurin inhibitors.

Appearance:

• Oblong, film-coated tablet.

• Tablet embossed with strength and/or brand identification.
