Description:

Niraparix 100 mg Capsule contains Niraparib, an oral poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor. Niraparib is primarily used in the treatment of certain types of cancers, including ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer. It works by inhibiting the PARP enzyme, which is involved in DNA repair. By blocking this enzyme, Niraparib prevents cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, ultimately leading to their death.

Therapeutic Use:

• Maintenance treatment for adult patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who are in a complete or partial response to platinum-based chemotherapy.

• It may also be used in other cancers associated with BRCA gene mutations or homologous recombination deficiency (HRD), as approved by healthcare authorities.

Mechanism of Action:
