• Indications: Provides temporary relief from non-productive (dry) cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and itchy/watery eyes associated with colds, flu, and allergic rhinitis.

• Mechanism of action:

  • Dextromethorphan suppresses coughing via action on the brain’s cough center.

  • Pseudoephedrine constricts nasal vessels to reduce congestion.
