Product Description:

Olonex Tablet contains Olopatadine Hydrochloride, an antihistamine used to relieve allergic symptoms. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.

Indications:

• Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching)

• Chronic urticaria (hives)

• Other allergic conditions such as itchy eyes, throat irritation

Dosage:

• Adults & adolescents (≥12 years): 5 mg once or twice daily, as prescribed by a physician.

• Dosage may vary based on the severity of symptoms and patient response.

Mechanism of Action:

Olopatadine is a selective H1 receptor antagonist with additional mast cell-stabilizing properties. It reduces histamine-mediated allergic responses.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.

• Should be avoided or used carefully in pregnancy and lactation unless clearly needed.

• May cause mild drowsiness in some patients.
