Indications:
Paloxi ODT is primarily used for the prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and surgery.
Mechanism of Action:
Palonosetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It works by blocking serotonin receptors in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract, helping to reduce the nausea and vomiting reflex triggered by chemotherapy or anesthesia.
