Product Description:
Plasmex IV Infusion is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution containing Hydroxyethyl Starch (HES) and Sodium Chloride. Hydroxyethyl Starch is a plasma volume expander that helps restore blood volume in cases of hypovolemia, while Sodium Chloride maintains electrolyte balance.
The 6% concentration of Hydroxyethyl Starch acts as a colloidal osmotic agent, improving plasma volume and enhancing circulatory stability. Sodium Chloride 0.9% ensures isotonicity and supports physiological sodium and chloride levels.
Indications:

Treatment and prophylaxis of hypovolemia due to acute blood loss or fluid depletion.

Management of shock caused by trauma, surgery, or burns.
Administration:
Administered intravenously under medical supervision. Dosage depends on the patient's fluid and electrolyte balance, blood loss, and clinical condition.
