Product Description:

Tetrazin Tablet contains Tetrabenazine, a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor used primarily for the treatment of movement disorders such as chorea associated with Huntington's disease and other hyperkinetic movement disorders (e.g., tardive dyskinesia, Tourette syndrome, dystonia).

• Dosage Form: Oral tablet

• Mechanism of Action: Tetrabenazine works by depleting monoamines (dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, histamine) from nerve terminals, reducing involuntary movements.

Indications:

• Chorea in Huntington’s disease

• Tics in Tourette syndrome (off-label)

• Tardive dyskinesia (off-label)

Common Side Effects:

• Drowsiness
